Dr Sally Moorcroft


Integrative and Functional Medical Doctor

Dr. Moorcroft is a highly qualified medical doctor with 20 years of clinical experience, specialising in functional and integrative medicine.  One of the most highly trained Integrative Medicine doctors in the UK, she is also a Tutor at the National Centre of Integrated Medicine in Bristol.

Combining functional and nutritional medicine, herbal medicine, homeopathy and bio-identical hormone therapy in her clinic. She has a special interest in women's health, menopause, gut health and psychology with excellent patient testimonials.

Dr. Sally invites patients into a warm, welcoming and empathetic clinical environment to discuss their needs. Consulting to produce a highly tailored individual treatment plan with personalised on-going monitoring and care.

Her qualifications include a BSc (Hons) in Herbal Medicine, Medical Homeopathy (MFHom) through the National Centre for Integrative Medicine, Bristol. She is also trained in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Medical Acupuncture, Iscador (Mistletoe Cancer) Therapy and Bio-Identical Hormone Therapy at the Marion Gluck Clinic, London.

Dr Moorcroft is passionate about using a personalised, holistic and root cause approach. She is a graduate of the AFMCP (Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice) and is currently working on IFM certification. GMC Registered with membership of the Institute of Functional Medicine, College of Phytotherapy, College of Medicine, British Menopause Society and Faculty of Homeopathy.

She writes for magazines with articles featuring in Woman and Home and many online national magazines, blogs and podcasts. Lecturing nationally on integrative health, Dr. Sally has also appeared on Health Radio UK.

 

 

 


Dr. Preet Chana


Functional Medicine Doctor

Dr. Preet qualified from The University of Birmingham in 2013. She has been an NHS hospital doctor for almost 8 years and have spent her time working in various medical specialties including acute internal medicine, diabetes and general medicine in the Yorkshire region. She has also spent 2 years training in psychiatry. Prior to her medical training she always had a keen interest in nutrition and a holistic approach to health. This has stayed with her throughout her career and led her to become involved with a local group called The Yorkshire Wellness Group.
 
She went on to do further training with the Institute of Functional Medicine (IFM) in 2018. She is passionate about looking for root causes of symptoms, health optimization and empowering patients to take control of their own health and wellbeing.

Certified Nutrigenetic Counsellor (NgC)

Nathalie has a BSc in Nutritional Medicine from the University of West London and a BSc (Hon) in Psychology.   She is a BANT Registered Nutritionist working in the community and a Registered Nutritional Therapy Practitioner CNHC,. Nathalie takes a functional approach in practice, drawing on evidence based research to provide dietary advice. Functional medicine uses the patient’s story as a key tool for integrating signs and symptoms and evidence of clinical imbalances into a comprehensive approach to improve both the patient’s physiological function.

The Institute for Functional Medicine teaches health care professional’s how to apply these principles in practice through an intensive 5 day training course called Applying Functional Medicine in Clinical Practice™. Nathalie attended and completed the AFMCP™-UK training in London in 2017. She has also been accepted onto the IFM Certification program. She completed the Gastrointestinal APM in 2019.  

Nathalie attended Genesnippers UK training in 2018 and in 2019 passed the competency assessment in clinical nutrigenomics.   Nathalie is competent in understanding and interpreting DNA results and is certified as a Nutrigenetic counsellor (NgC).

As a BANT registered Nutritionist, she is regularly invited to speak in spas, schools and corporate settings; running workshops and cooking demonstrations. She has a passion for the practical elements, running cooking demonstrations/classes for both adults and children. Nathalie also has experience in developing menus and diet plans; contributes to magazines, radio (CFM radio), newsletters and most recently her own food blog Nutritiously Natty. Her real passion is working with brands in recipe development., combined with her a goal to learn the skills of food photography!



Sandra Bojen-Taylor


Integrative Psychotherapy and EMDR Trauma Work

Sandra completed accredited counselling and psychotherapy courses of the highest calibre over a 5 year period in order to start practicing in the field. In 2011 Sandra invested further in my work and completed a Masters Degree in Integrative Counselling and Psychotherapy with Distinction. This equipped her with knowledge about current and cutting edge research in the field and enabled her to work with new concepts in my client work. She has a wealth of experience working with a diverse range of clients and issues.

Sandra has been a BACP Registered Counsellor since 2000. She practices Integrative Psychotherapy which means she is experienced in working with several approaches. She draws from Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Person-Centred, Psychodynamic, Narrative, Transactional Analysis (TA), Gestalt and Mindfulness theories. She is also a fully qualified EMDR therapist – an amazing and innovative therapy (the most thoroughly researched method used in the treatment of trauma) which has successfully helped millions of people with a wide range of mental health problems as well as PTSD

Laura Cox


Herbal Medicine Practitioner

Laura qualified as a medical herbalist with a first class BSc honours degree from Lincoln University in 2017. She is also a professional member of The National Institute of Medical Herbalists.

Naturally having a down to earth approach, Laura enjoys helping people find balance in their health and well being. She believes that the road to health should be a collaborative journey in which patient and practitioner work together to achieve lasting results. Empowering and teaching along the way.

Laura treats all conditions in her practice from digestive problems, to skin complaints, to arthritis, to anxiety. A great listener, Laura has a particular interest in emotional conditions and in how emotions can affect one's health.

When not working at Orchard Barn Health Laura would most likely be found out in nature with her family and faithful Labrador. Always on the look out for a new adventure!


Rebecca Somerscales


Holistic Nurse & Yoga Therapy Practitioner

Rebecca has been practising yoga since 2000 in the Viniyoga tradition. Whilst strength, flexibility, improved posture and breathing all result from yoga practice there is also a deeper sense of well-being that yoga brings. Rebecca's many years of study, personal practice and therapeutic approach help guide you in a friendly and accessible way. She is skilled at adapting postures to your needs and working with people with illness or pain.

Rebecca is also a practising nurse and offers a phlebotomy clinic along with supporting Dr. Sally with some of her patient care packages.

Bowen Therapist and Holistic Practitioner

Emma is a qualified Bowen Therapist and Beauty Therapist who has gone on to study many healing holistic therapies including Shamanic Healing, Reiki and Bowen Therapy.

Emma has seen some fantastic results from her healing therapies and is an true expert in her field

 

 

 


Amanda Jayne McMullan


Holistic Therapist Practitioner

Amanda Jayne is a Reiki Master teacher, reflexologist and Massage therapist. She is passionate about helping people who are in pain , stressed or anxious to be happier, calmer and more relaxed. She especially loves to combine healing therapies so that every client receives what they what they want and need from every therapy session.

A great believer in nature and it’s ability to heal. Amanda-Jayne’s other passion is taking care of animals, they play a huge role in her life and she have dogs and horses at home to take care of.


Joanne Parrinder


Holistic Practitioner

Joanne is qualified in Beauty Therapy and specialises in Holistic relaxing treatments. She is very talented in her field and very effective at relaxing your body and then your mind can follow.

Joanne is qualified in a whole range of heated massage treatment along with myofascial release and is also trained as a Dr. Hauschka Esthetician and delivers the full range of treatments.


Amy Dalgleish


Acupuncturist

Amy practises Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), providing acupuncture treatments which may also include acupressure massage, cupping and moxibustion.  Amy spent three years studying for her BSc (Hons) Acupuncture degree at The University Of Lincoln, graduating in 2007. Immediately after graduating she became a member of The British Acupuncture Council (BAcC).
